The subjects for the second year of my college course have been settled upon. Along with the continuation of Philosophy, English Literature and Communication with Culture from AS to A2 I’ve added AS in Photography and a beginners course in Spanish. These extra subjects will help maintain focus for me since that’s one of the things I recognized was lacking in the AS. Originally I had intended to start the three subjects only because of the length of time I’ve been out of education and see how well I manage. The first part of the year went very smoothly because I had made plenty of plans for it but in the second half things started to crumble a little. With the routine settled I was still looking around for other things to do and that for me can often be distracting. So, with two more subjects and a larger time given over to college the first part my be a little tight but I don’t think the second part with crumble. I know it’s only the beginning of the summer but still I’m looking forward to the next term, I don’t recall college being something I looked forward to back when I was fresh out of school.
