Things are still moving along smoothly, I’ve hit targets and handed essays in on time all thats left is to see if the marks aren’t as bad as the photography book, I’m ever hopeful.
I’ve had more thoughts about the new photography project and I’m going to stay with the theme of art but perhaps choose a different artist, I’m going to talk to my teacher about this this afternoon. There is still the option of photographing at the theatre though so I’m going to keep that in mind. The theatre sounds like it could be easier perhaps and produce some great images though if I believe in the art project then that’s what I’m going to go for. So far it’ll be representing an artist who thought about art as 2D like Stella or Bernett Newman and expanding that into three dimensions in the style of another photographer. The other option with art is representation of Jackson Pollock who, from what I remember had layers, backgrounds and foregrounds even in his pictures and try to represent that through the style of other artist. Sounds like a good challenge to me and I’m really looking forward to the project.
