First day back! It was great to see everyone again and I spent some doing a little extra work for English trying to understand if I should go for Feminism or Marxism in either Frankenstein or Wuthering Heights for the coursework. I’m being drawn to feminism for Wuthering Heights just so I can get the theme of monomania in there!

Having only the one subject today, Communication and Culture, we looked at the work set from the week off and talked about our findings. So although it was a lively discussion writing about it is difficult to put into words. Generally others experience of the word ‘gay’ is similar to my own and we all seemed to agree that celebrities are susceptible to ‘bisexual chic’ which was also agreed that this can undermine to genuine struggle and extra effort gay people challenge on an ongoing basis.

Other than the work already done we talked about going out to visit Lincoln University as part of the coursework called ‘Places and Spaces’ . My first thought was ‘can I take a camera?’ Looking forward to that…
