Things To Remember
As I mentioned earlier in the week, there hasn’t been much going on in this first week of college other than getting to know where and when things are and what to expect. One of the things in communication and Culture though was ‘What makes good and bad practise for a student’, things learnt from from the AS year. Here are a few that I contributed to.
Good Practise
Pace yourself, don’t burn out or overdo things, make sure there is balance.
Exam practise
Paying attention
Spending time on coursework and not leaving it till the last minute though this works for some
Social/college life balance
Getting a plan together
Bad Practise
Last minute revision
Spending too much time in shops or the pub
Bringing work in late
…. of course, opposites to the good practise as well.
