Up The Garden Path

The selection here almost didn’t make it onto here, they almost didn’t ever exist. I thought I’d done for the day and started talking to my mum about the pictures and how I struggled to realise a theme and she immediately suggested I show off her recycling. We walked around her garden and took a variety of pictures while she told me about how almost everything in the garden has been recycled one way or another. The fun little figures, little pots and even the park bench where items all brought back from the local rubbish tip that someone else was throwing away. The fish pond is made from an old bath tub that she’s used herself along with the bird baths from lids of old fashioned metal dustbin lids where the rest of the bin has been painted and stenciled images added. Other than the particular kind of lining for the fish pond and the lawn mower everything else has been recycled one way or another. Excellent! Thanks Mum.
