It’s a tune!
I visited Leicester University, the Open Day was something else. The guy presenting the lecture about Film Studies certainly seemed to know his stuff. I went with my friend who was quite gracious about the whole thing and I nearly walked right into someone, she turned round and said sorry to me, perhaps we’ll meet there if it’s Leicester I go to? Having missed the Welcome Talk, we had our own wonder around the campus which was, as my friend says larger than a village. We went to the mature students talk as well which seemed a little bizarre but then I was sat in the corner trying to concentrate without much success.
I didn’t go to the other University open days that I’d planned, somethings simply didn’t work out but we did manage to get to the pub and pick up a prospectus from another uni. I quite liked Northapton especially it’s slection of pubs, one in particular that would suit me fine so I’ll certainly consider there. Other than that we spoke to some women in a pub, shared our concerns, I lost my shoes walking there a field with some long grass over a railway line and into nettles. I did get a lift for my trouble though after falling asleep by the roadside!
