Back To The Old Skool
Having been reassured about the exam in philosophy not going perhaps as badly as I thought, the lesson today was focused on the aspects of the A2 which, still subject to change, I’ll be looking forward to. There is a continuation of morality, which is a strong debating point for me and the other module is yet to be decided, we may read politics or more epistemology. The books to read are Plato’s Republic or one from J S Mill, the Mill book goes with the politic and the Plato with epistemology. I’ll be happy with either because the my confidence is returning, perhaps it was the thought of exams and since they are now over I feel better about the course. Even if I haven’t done so well in the exam there is an option to resit.
I also made an appointment to see a student advisor with regard to other subjects. Photography is the area I’ll be interested in as well as completing a course in Spanish.
