I’ve hit a dilemma, what to do about my subjects at college. I have other options now so I’m not sure if I should choose other subjects, one or more in addition to those I already have or not to. Also if I choose additional subjects, which one’s and how many. Then I have the questions to ask myself if I choose more, will I be able to handle that many, will I be stretching myself too thin?
The options.
Languages: French/Spanish
Photography
English Language
I want to increase my workload in preparation for University and I’m also interested in these subjects. I also want to consider dropping philosophy.
Working from the view of the degree I’m looking to do photography and Spanish or French are the most fitting but I haven’t quite made my decision as to the degree course yet and English will fit better with another option. I’ve a little experience of French and would enjoy furthering that and it would also be useful later on. Philosophy has been my touch stone, it’s what manoeuvred me into college so perhaps now I’ve settled a little I should be happy to say goodbye to the subject, it is however, an engaging area of study. I should talk to my teachers and gain some perspective.
Edit >> Having checked the College site only Spanish in languages is available and that’s in the evening so I will add the subject. I think I’ll also add photography. It’s going to be a busy summer learning enough Spanish to start the course and working enough to afford a camera!
